Iran's military ready to train the Syrian Army

TEHRAN, May 5 (MNA) – The commander of the Iranian Army's Ground Forces Brigadier regarding readiness to help Syria forces Against the Israeli attacks said: “Syrian army is strong and ready to defend its borders, but if it needs be, we can assist them in training sector.”

General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan pointing to the launch of the project Ghader3 (Helicopter simulator 214), said: “in the coming months, we will unveil Ghader5, which is the helicopter simulator 209 for Cobra and Chinook helicopters.

Gen. Ahmadreza Pourdastan, the Army Commander during a speech for the unveiling ceremony of motion-based helicopter simulators 214, in the Research and Jihad for Self-Sufficiency Organization, said: “War, is a very bitter event, but before it happens, we must prepare weapons and equipment.”

He added: “the Army in particular, has taken long steps towards preserve and promotion of vigorous defense in line with Supreme Leader emphasis, on the agenda of the Armed Forces.”

The Army Chief emphasizing that all activities of the Army today is based on training of its forces, said: “at the moment we produce the most advanced motion-based helicopter simulators in accordance with the needs of the country in the Army.”

Pourdastan reiterated: “Pourvatan Training Center is the largest pilot training center in the country and in the region and it has been ready to accept students from friendly countries.

He emphasized that the Ghader3 project (helicopter simulator 214), is a big and important project and said: “we will unveil the Ghader5 project (helicopter simulator 209), a motion-based helicopter simulator for Cobra and Chinook helicopters.”
